Wind Farms provide long-term additional income that can benefit landowners and their family for generations. This income is drought-resistant, providing a regular source of income regardless of the weather, grain, cattle and sheep prices. Complementary Land Use
Wind development complements existing farm operations. Each turbine and access road takes about 1 acre out of production, leaving more than 98% of farmland free for traditional farming. The spacing between modern wind turbines varies between 500m and 1000m, leaving ample space between turbines for croping and grazing
